BREAKING: St. Landry Animal control WILL NOT euthanize 39 Pit Bulls.

After being at maximum capacity, the shelter scheduled 39 Pit Bulls to be euthanized Wednesday, February 15. Wanting to fight for these dogs lives, Director for Animal Control,Stacey McKnight took to social media.

Their plea went viral and animal shelters both local and out of town are pitching in to lend a hand.
However, the shelter still needs help to save these dogs. Friends Underwriting Rescues is accepting donations to buy kennels.

The shelter needs 15 five by ten welded wire kennels in order to save these dogs. Donations to FUR are tax deductible.

If you have a crate or kennel, you want to donate- you can bring them by St. Landry Animal Control.
