Two Arrested In Connection With Methamphetamine Operation In St. Martinville

(St. Martinville, LA.)- Yesterday morning, following an investigation into reports of suspected illegal drug activity, Narcotics Agents with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a residence in the 5000 block of Main Hwy in St. Martinville, LA.  Agents obtained the search warrant following an undercover operation whereby a Narcotics Agent purchased illegal drugs from the residence.

 
Following the execution of the warrant, Agents discovered Farrah Buillard, 40, St. Martinville, and Phylis Menard, 50, St. Martinville, in possession of Methamphetamine, Marijuana, LSD, Carisoprodol and materials used to package and distribute the illegal drugs.  Both were arrested and charged as follows:

Distribution of Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine)
Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine)
Possession of Schedule I CDS (LSD)
Possession of Schedule I CDS (Marijuana)
Possession of Schedule IV CDS (Carisoprodol)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
 
Phylis Menard:
 
Possession with the Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS (Methamphetamine)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
 
Following their arrests, they were both booked in to the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges. At the time of this release, no bond had been set.
